Solidago shortii Short's Goldenrod

Short's goldenrod is a federally endangered species found only in Kentucky and Indiana. Although its native habitat is under threat, we offer this plant to our customers.  In no way do we diminish the peril of native habitats, we simply want people to enjoy this stunning, slow-spreading native goldenrod.

Many insects use this plant while in bloom. Stop by the nursery and see this plant in our demonstration garden.
