Obedient Plant Physostegia virginiana

If you have a moist-wet spot, this is your plant.  Obedient plant is a rhizomatous perennial growing to 4’ tall. The pink blooms remind you of snapdragons. Flower spikes may be up to 10” long.

It’s called obedient plant because each individual flower, when pushed in any direction, will remain there temporarily.  

Can be aggressive when given ideal conditions.
