Eastern Smooth beardtongue Penstemon laevigatus

One of several penstemon species native to KY.  All have characteristic basal leaves with an erect flowering stem. All grow 1-4’ tall. Full sun to part-sun are ideal with medium moisture, but can tolerate other moisture levels.
