Wild bergamot Monarda fistulosa

This taller monarda, up to 4’ tall, prefers dry soils and full sun.  Can self-seed but not overly aggressive.  This species has good powdery mildew resistance.

Hummingbird moths, bumblebees, and butterflies are highly attracted to this plant. Flower color ranges from pink to lavender to white, most commonly lavender.
