Maple Leaved Alum Root Heuchera villosa var. atropurpurea

Plant alumroot where it can get some western shade. It likes humusy, rich, well-drained, medium moisture soil, but it has good drought tolerance as well.

It reaches only 1.5’ tall. Late summer blooms are in open, airy panicles. Best to plant these in large groups for best effect.
