Common Boneset Eupatorium perfoliatum

Nope, boneset was not used by Native Americans to heal broken bones. It would certainly make sense. But it was kind of a cure-all for various ailments.

Foliage is coarse and interesting and definitely can add some texture to the garden.  Late summer blooms are white and very attractive to pollinators. Consider this plant for areas that stay a little moist.
