Rattlesnake Master Eryngium yuccifolium

Looking for some different architecture in the garden? Look no further than rattlesnake master. Not only does it have a cool name, but it has unique foliage and blooms.

It produces a rosette of bristly, gray-green leaves at its base, then up shoots the flowering stem.  Prefers dry soils and full sun.  Blooms in mid to late summer.
