Purple Love Grass Eragrostis spectabilis

This bunching, warm-season grass prefers dry to medium soils and full sun.  They tolerate poor or infertile soils.  This grass has good resistance to drought.  

Purple love grass is a short grass at 2’ tall.  When in bloom, the flowers produce a purple haze.  Blooms in July-August.
